We will create the perfect cake for you on unbelievably short notice: 2 to 3 days or less. Special occasions often arise suddenly and with our busy work lives we may only get around to finding the right cake at the last minute. Well La Baguette & L'Echalote loves to become an integral part of your celebration!
From Buttercream to Tiramisu, New York Cheesecake to Chocolate Hazelnut Mousse, Grand Marnier to our top-of-the-line Ganache – we consider it a challenge and duty to create for you a cake that will be the STAR of your party (after the person being honoured of course!). We love to hear your ideas, the details you want included in your cake design – right down to the last infinitesimal dollop of icing!
Birthdays are of course the most common occasion for which we architect gateaux. Birthdays only come once a year and deserve notice! We will write directly on cakes or on special antiqued fondant plaques (if cake surface is decorative flower petal) to communicate just the right message to the cake recipient. There's NOTHING we won't write on a cake, from a tad risqué to the most staid and formal greeting. There is NOTHING that our Pastry Chef can't do, so...
